UPSC Recruitment 2018: Today is the last date for departmental candidates to apply for ten positions of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) notification has sought online applications from interested candidate at its official website, upsconline.nic.in.

Candidates should ensure that all columns of their application form are filled in correctly, as the Commission will not entertain any correspondence from candidates to change any of the entries made in the form.

According to the notification, candidates are required to route a hard copy of the online submitted application form through proper channel with necessary certification done by the appropriate authority to the CISF authorities at the address given on or before 8th January, 2019: 

Director General, Central Industrial Security Force, 13, CGO Complex, Lodi Road, New Delhi-110003. 

Number of posts: The tentative number of vacancies to be filled on the basis of the Examination will be 10 (General- 06; SC-01; ST- 03).

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for the position need to have completed Graduation from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Candidates applying for the position should notice that their maximum age does not exceed 35 years.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Examination, Physical and Medical Standard Tests or Personality/Interview.

Notably, the Union Public Service Commission will hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination on 3rd March, 2019 for filling the vacancies of Assistant Commandants (Executive) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). 

The examination will be held at New Delhi, and it is restricted to only certain categories of departmental candidates of CISF. For details regarding eligibility conditions, the syllabus and scheme of the examination, physical/ medical standards etc., aspirants should consult the Rules of the Examination notified by Ministry of Home Affairs in the Gazette of India dated 05.12.2018.

Candidates can also download the Gazette from the CISF website--www.cisf.gov.in, and the rules will also be available on the UPSC website.

The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
