UPSC Recruitment 2019: UPSC aka Union Public Service Commission has invited applications for the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2019 & Combined Medical Services Examinations 2019. Interested candidates can apply through its official website which is www.upsc.gov.in. There are 323 seats available for the post of Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Examination, 2019 out of which there are 100 seats for BSF, 108 for CRPF, 28 for CISF, 21 for ITBP and 66 for SSB. The candidates  should be graduate in any stream from recognized University. Age limit is set between 20 to 25 years. Candidates need to pay Rs 200 as Application fees for GEN/OBC category candidates and No fee for SC/ST. Last Date for Submission of Online Application form is on 20 May 2019, the Last Date for Payment of Fee by Challan is 19 May 2019 and the Written Exam date is 18 August 2019.

For the post of Combined Medical Services Examination there are 965 seats available out of which Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways - 300 seats, Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services - 46 seats, Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services - 250 seats, General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council - 07 seats, General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation - 362 seats. The candidate should have the M.B.B.S. degree and age limit set for the same is 32 years. Candidates need to pay Rs 200 as

Application fees for GEN/OBC category candidates and No fee for SC/ST category candidates. Exam Date is on 28 June 2019, and admit card will be available in June 2019. 
For Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination post, there are 106 seats available out of which for Geologist, Group A- 50 seats, for  Geophysicist, Group A- 14 seats, for Chemist Group A- 15 seats, for Junior Hydrogeologists (Scientist B), Group A- 27 seats. 

Education qualification required for the post of Geologist, Group A is Master’s degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology or Geo-Exploration or Mineral Exploration or Engineering Geology or Marine Geology or Earth Science and Resource Management or Oceanography and Coastal Areas Studies or Petroleum Geo-sciences or Petroleum Exploration or Geochemistry or Geological Technology or Geophysical Technology from a University.

Foe Geophysicist, Group A candidate should be M.Sc. in Physics or Applied Physics or M.Sc. (Geophysics) or Integrated M.Sc (Exploration Geophysics) or M.Sc (Applied Geophysics) or M.Sc. (Marine Geophysics) Or M.Sc. (Tech.) (Applied Geophysics) from a University.

For Group A candidates must have M. Sc. in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry from a University incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature or other educational Institutes established by an Act of the Parliament or declared to be deemed Universities under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 i.e. recognized University.

For Junior Hydrogeologists (Scientist B), Group A must have Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology from a University and age limit set for the same is 21 to 32 years ( as on 1st Jan 2019 ). Selection will be based on Written Exam & Interview. Exam Date is on 28 June 2019, Admit Card will be available from June 2019

For Indian Economic Service / Indian Statistical  Service Examination, there are 65 seats available out of which Indian Economic Service ( IES ) - 32 seats and Indian Statistical Service ( ISS )- 33 seats. The expected qualification for Indian Economic Service is the candidates should be Passed/Appearing Post Graduate/ Master Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics / Business  Economics / Econometric from Any Recognized University in India and for Indian Statistical Service post the candidates should have Passed/Appearing Bachelors Degree with Statistics/ Applied Statistics Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or have a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics. The age limit set for the same is 21 to 30 years ( as on 1st August 2019 ).

The exam date is on 28 June 2019 and Admit Card will be available in June 2019. 

For Civil Services (IAS) & Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examinations, there are 986 seats available out of which 896 for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination and 90 seats for Indian Forest Service Examination. The qualification required for the Civil Services is that the candidates should have Bachelor Degree in any stream from recognized University and for Indian Forest Service post the candidate should have Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities. The age limit set for the same is 21 to 32 years. Candidates need to pay Rs 100 as Application fees for GEN/OBC category candidates and No fee for SC/ST category candidates. Selection will be based on Preliminary Written Test, Main Written Exam & Interview.

And for National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA -I) Examination, there are 392 seats available and the candidates are expected to be 12th Pass with the age limit born between 02nd July 2000 and 1st July 2003. Candidates need to pay Rs 100 as Application fees for GEN/OBC category candidates and No fee for SC/ST category candidates. Selection will be based on Written Test & SSB Test/Interview.
