UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced a notification for EWS Category candidates who are preparing for their upcoming Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2019. As per the notification released by UPSC, candidates eligible to get the benefit of 10% Economic Weaker Section (EWS) quota must get their EWS certificates latest by 1st of August 2019.

The notification for Civil Services (P) Exam 2019 – (Application Submission and EWS related Important Notice) is available on the official UPSC website. The candidates who wish to apply under EWS category should get their EWS Certificate latest by 1st August 2019. 

The UPSC has asked candidates to complete the Part II, if they have completed their Part I. The candidates need to submit their applications in due time, without waiting for the closing date.

UPSC has also done a ceiling on a number of candidates allotted to each examination centers except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur. 

The allotment of Exam Centres for UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) exam 2019 will be done on the basis of 'first-apply-first allot'. No candidate will be allowed to apply for the exam centre, once it is filled. Therefore, applicants should apply for the Exam Centre as early as possible. 

There are total of 896 vacancies for several posts of Civil Services and UPSC invited the online application process for the same. The online application process was started on 19th February 2019. However, the last date to submit the online applications is 18th March 2019, 6 pm.

The candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination of UPSC will be considered eligible to appear for the Main Examination, followed by an Interview.

The interested candidates of Civil Services should apply for the UPSC CSE 2019 Preliminary Examination in order to participate in one of the toughest competitive exams of the country.
