UP Board result 2018: Those who appeared in the class 10 and class 12 examinations of Uttar Pradesh should know that the state education board has released a notification stating that the results of both these classes will be declared on April 29 at 12:30 pm. The students can check their results at the official websites, upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in. The examination for class 10 was conducted from February 6 to 22, while class 12 was held from February 6 to March 10. A total of 66,37,018 students had registered for both the examinations, of which 36,55,691 belonged to class 10 and 29,81,327 students were from class 12. Students can also check their results at other websites like examresults.net and indiaresults.com, besides the official website of the state board.
 
Talking about the board examinations, the state's Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma earlier said, “We are happy that it was a copying-free examination and the answer sheets have been evaluated on time. We will declare the results of UP Board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 in April. The new academic session will start on April 16 and by July, the new education calendar will be issued”.

1 Visit the official website, upresults.nic.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in
2 Click on result tab
3 Enter your registration number, roll number
4 Results will appear
5 Download the copy of your result, and take a print out for further reference
 
It may be noted that students need to obtain a minimum of 35 per cent marks in the examination to be declared pass. The board has also made a provision for compartment examinations which can be taken in any of the subject. Dates of these examinations will be announced after the results.

The board this year followed stringent measures to curb prevalent malpractice during the examination. The state government has also ordered to install CCTVs at evaluation centres to maintain transparency. The government would also deploy security forces to keep the education mafia in check.
 
About early UP Board result 2018, UP Board secretary Neena Srivastava reportedly stated, “Since we started the exams from February 6, the results will also be out early. In 40-45 days, we have plans to publish both classes’ results. After evaluation, we will send copies for double-checking at our regional offices.”
