United Airlines has announced new daily non-stop seasonal service between Indira Gandhi International Airport and San Francisco International Airport starting from December 7, 2019, which is subject to government approval.

Direct flight to San Francisco will be the airline’s third daily nonstop service from India in addition to the existing flights from Mumbai and New Delhi to NewYork/Newark. The flight will leave from Delhi every day at 4 am and reach San Francisco at 6:10 am. It will leave from San Francisco at 7:45 pm and will reach Delhi at 12:45 am.

“This new flight strengthens our international route network and provides our customers from India with even greater travel choice, with connections from San Francisco to other destinations across the U.S. and Canada,” said Harvinder Singh, United’s Country Manager India. “Connecting the Indian capital to the U.S. west coast opens up new opportunities for both business and leisure travelers.”

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner will be the airplane which will be used for commuting and amenities such as large windows, spacious overhead storage and modern LED lighting to simulate a full day, also, helping passengers adjust their internal clock on the trans-Atlantic flight will be available to the passengers. In addition, a lower cabin altitude, cleaner air, and smoother ride help customers feel rested on arrival.
