TSBIE Inter results 2018: Madchal district in Telangana earned the distinction of gaining the top position in the Telangana Inter 1st year, Inter 2nd year results, that is Intermediate exams, declared today. Telangana's Deputy CM and Education Minister Kadiyam Srihari released the results today at Hyderabad. The percentage of students in Intermediate examination this year has increased in comparison to the last year. Madchal secured the top position among all districts followed by Komuram Bhim district, while Mahabubabad with 40 pass percent reportedly stood at the bottom.

In the TSBIE Inter results announced today, girls have once again outperformed boys by scoring pass percentage of 69, while boys pass percentage stood at 55.66 per cent.

According to reports, a total of 4,55,789 students from the first year appeared for the inter exams of which 62.35 per cent have passed, while the pass percentage of second year intermediate students is at 67.25 per cent. A total of 4,29,398 students appeared in the examination. The minimum pass percentage is reported to be 35 per cent.

The examination, which took place in three parts, Part-I English, Part-II Second Language and Part-III Group subjects. The students can check their intermediate first and second year results 2018 at the official websites, tsbie.cgg.gov.in and results.cgg.gov.in. The results for both Inter 1st and 2nd year will be uploaded on the results website of the board.
 
Approximately 9.63 lakh candidates appeared for both Telangana intermediate first and second year examinations. The Telangana intermediate first year exams took place between February 28 and March 17, while the second year examinations were conducted from March 1 to March 19 at around 1,294 centres across the state. 
 
More than 25,395 invigilators along with 1,294 chief superintendents and 1,294 departmental officers were deployed for the examination by the state government.
