At a round table which was attended by amongst others including RIL`s Mukesh Ambani, Aditya Birla Group`s Kumar Mangalam Birla and Tata Group`s N. Chandrasekaran, he said that if he wins, the US stock markets will see a major rise, jumping up thousands of points, and if not, the markets will see an epic crash.

Trump said that the US economy was now performing very well and that the consumers there have more disposable incomes due to growing numbers of jobs.

However, the US might not sustain healthy economic performance, if he is not re-elected, he said, adding that the unemployment rates might soar if he is not voted back to office for a second term.

Enticing Indian investment in the US, he said that the US is going to reduce more regulations, and called upon India Inc to invest "billions" of dollars to reap the benefit of tax and regulation cuts that his administration has implemented.

At the business round table, he even talked about an upcoming tax cut for the American middle class and the fact that unemployment in the US was at a record low.

On industry specific areas, he pointed out that the US aluminium and steel industries would have died, if he had not been elected in 2016.

In addition, he said that governments can only aid in employment generation, but its is the private industry which actually creates jobs.
