The word of mouth from audience has not been merciful for Thugs of Hindostan and this has led to it failing in its effort to brighten up the Box Office. This is not it, critics and analysts have called the movie - a ''mammoth disaster''. Despite performing well on the first day of release with Rs 52.25 crore, the film failed to live up to expectations after releasing to poor reviews.

The film added Rs 4 crore to its earnings on Tuesday and Rs  3.80 cr on day 7. It has been running on a whopping 5000+ screens in India alone.

Thugs of Hindostan has collected Rs 137.55 crore so far on Hindi screen and it is expected that the movie will hardly cross Rs 135 crore mark till the weekend. If considered the first-day earnings the amount at which the movie is performing today it would be the earning of 1st three days.

The makers of Thugs of Hindostan film and the audience are disappointed by the movie review and the performance of the cast. There was a lot expected from the star cast but it turned out badly.

However, it is almost a month since Badhaai Ho release, and still the performance of the movie is unexpectedly good. Despite the presence of Thugs in most cinemas, Aamir Khan has not been able to muscle out this

Ayushmann Khurrana starrer. The audience finds the movie a compelling watch as compared to other releases in the month.
