You know what, many quotes which are doing the rounds on internet in the name of Ratan Tata are not actually said by him. And, Ratan Tata is one such person who never hesitates to call spade a spade.

In one such instance, calling out the fake news, Ratan Tata on Apr 11, 2020, tweeted, "This post has neither been said, nor written by me. I urge you to verify media circulated on WhatsApp and social platforms. If I have something to say, I will say it on my official channels. Hope you are safe and do take care."

Countering another one, Ratan Tata on May 3, 2020, tweeted, "I’m afraid this too, has not been said by me. I will endeavour to call out fake news whenever I can, but would encourage you to always verify news sources. My picture alongside a quote does not guarantee me having said it, a problem that many people face."

Earlier, Infosys co-founder, Narayana Murthy had sought blessings from TATA sons, Chairman Emeritus, at TiE con Mumbai. And, the pictures had become the talking point on the internet.

Today, Ratan Tata turned 84, and we wish him a very happy birthday. And, a great and healthy year ahead.
