Notorious piracy website Tamilrockers has hit the headlines again and this time, it is the lateest Vidyut Jammwal movie, Commando 3 that has fallen prey to the act. Commando 3 has been leaked online by the piracy website within one week of its release. Tamilrockers earlier limited itself to only Tamil movies, but has since then gradually expanded its reach to Bollywood movies, TV shows, web series and even Hollywood films. It has been very active and has leaked some big movies of the year including Saaho and last week's Marjaavaan.

Commando 3 had got a decent release and was doing well in the mass markets and single screen cinemas. The film had got the best opening in the Commando franchise. However, the leak is likely to affect its box office performance. The film, that got a mediocre opening of Rs 4.74 crore, managed to mint another Rs 3.02 crore on Tuesday, taking the overall collection to Rs 24.77 crore by the end of fifth day.

The action-thriller faces a crucial weekend ahead with two big titles releasing this weekend - Kartik Aryan's 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' and Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer 'Panipat.'

Helmed by Aditya Datt, the film also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Adah Sharma, Angira Dhar, Rajesh Tailang in pivotal roles. The film centres Karanveer Singh Dogra, a commando, portrayed by Vidyut Jamwal who is approached by Inspector Bhavana Reddy and Mallika Sood to catch a famous criminal gang who poses a threat to India.

As far as Tamilrockers is considered, the piracy website continues to operate despite an order by the Madras High Court. Tamilrockers continues to work through proxy servers and keeps changing its domain making it difficult to block the website.
