Tamil Nadu class 12th board results 2020: The Director General of Education (DGE) Tamil Nadu is set to declare TN plus two result on Tuesday on its official website tnresults.nic.in. The results will also be available on dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in. The students are advised to keep their admit cards ready to check the results. Also, they are advised to remain patient as the websites might take a while before opening.

The result was expected in the first week of July; however, were pushed to the next week. The Tamil Nadu state board had conducted the Plus two exams in March but the evaluation process was delayed to the COVID-19 lockdown. Some exams, however, were cancelled due to the crisis. The result date for 10th class has not been announced yet.

Tamil Nadu class 12th board results 2020: Last year stats

In 2019, the board had declared the Plus Two result on April 19th, 2019. The pass percentage for TN Plus Two in 2019 was 91.3%. Girls had managed to score better than boys with a pass percentage of 93.64% compared to 88.57%.

Students will get marks in TN results 12th 2020 based on their internal assessment. 80% marks will be based on quarterly and half-yearly exams and 20% marks will be awarded on the basis of their attendance.

The government had, however, scrapped Tamil Nadu board class 10th results and had decided to promote students on the basis of internal assessment marks and attendance.
