Super 30 box office collection: Hrithik Roshan-starrer movie "Super 30" has got a major boost from the Bihar government. Based on the life of celebrated tutor Anand Kumar, the film has been given entertainment tax exemption in his home state of Bihar. Kumar rose to fame for providing quality training to meritorious underprivileged students, who could not get good teaching for entrance exams to the IITs. His institute provides 30 underprivileged meritorious students coaching free every year. Food and accommodation of these students are also borne by his coaching centre.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who watched the movie on Friday at a screening where Anand Kumar was also present, today announced the government's decision to make the film tax free. "Thanks a lot to CM Nitish Kumar ji and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi ji making ‘Super 30’ tax free. It will help more and more people see the film," Anand Kumar tweeted.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, "Super 30" was released on last Friday (July 12, 2019).  The film is doing well at the box office. After collecting Rs 11.83 crore on the opening day, it earned Rs 50.76 crore in India business till Sunday.
