The domestic stocks markets ended almost flat after a volatile session on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. The Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange slipped eight points or 0.02% to close at 37,973.22. The Nifty at National Stock Exchange also ended five points or 0.05% down to settle at 11,222.40. But certain stocks came in news after the market was closed. BPCL & Aarti Drugs: 

BPCL: Today is the last day to bid to buy stakes in Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL).
Aarti Drugs: Today is the ex-date for bonus shares. It has declared a bonus of 3:1.  

Vodafone-Idea, Motilal Oswal, & Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd:

Vodafone Idea: The annual general meeting (AGM) of the debt-ridden telecom operator Vodafone Idea Ltd is scheduled to be held today. 
Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd (MOFSL): The Rs 150 crore buyback of MOFSL which opened on April 1, 2020, will close today. The price for the buyback was decided at Rs 650 per equity share. Offer size was 7.521%.

Punjab Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd: The open offer of the company to acquire 70.56 lakh shares, approximately 26%, will close today. The offer opened on September 17, 2020. The target price for the open offer has been fixed at Rs 39.10 per share.

IPO Subscription Update: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, UT AMC and Likhita Infrastructure

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The Rs 444-crore public offer of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders was subscribed 2.09 times on the first day for subscription. The qualified institutional buyer (QIB) quota was subscribed 0.04 times, while the portion set aside for non-institutional investors saw 0.78 times subscription. The retail portion was subscribed 5.63 times. The price band for the issue has been fixed at Rs 135-145 per share and the IPO subscription will close on October 1, 2020.

UTI Asset Management Company: The Rs 2,160 crore public issue of UTI AMC was subscribed 27 times on the first day of subscription. The portion set aside for qualified institutional buyer (QIB) was subscribed 0.00 times, while the non-institutional investors’ portion saw 0.06 times subscription. The retail portion was subscribed 0.51 times and employee portion saw subscription of 0.31 times. The price band for the issue is fixed at Rs 552-554 and the IPO subscription will close on October 1, 2020.

Likhita Infrastructure: The Rs 61.20 crore initial public offer of Likhita Infrastructure was subscribed 1.01 times on the first day of the bidding process. The portion set aside for qualified institutional buyer (QIB) was subscribed 0.02 times, while the non-institutional investors’ portion saw 0.85 times subscription. The retail portion was subscribed 2.47 times. The IPO by the Hyderabad-headquartered oil and gas pipeline infrastructure service provider has a price band of Rs 117-120. The IPO will close on October 1, 2020.

Sumitomo Chemical & Indiabulls Housing Finance: 

Sumitomo Chemical: The promoters of Sumitomo Chemical on Tuesday announced its plan to offload 3.3 per cent stakes (1.64 crore shares) of the company through the offer for sale (OFS) route. The non-retail portion will open for subscription today. It will open for the retail investors on October 1, 2020. The company seeks to raise Rs 450 crore through the OFS and the floor price for the OFS has been set at Rs 270 per share. 

Indiabulls Housing Finance: Indiabulls Housing Finance on Tuesday said it has further sold part of its stake in the UK-based OakNorth Holding Ltd. It raised Rs 683 crore through qualified institutional placement (QIP) and Rs 1,149 crore through sale of a stake in OakNorth. It has raised Rs 1,832 crore in September.
