Domestic stock markets closed on a flat note on Friday, September 11, 2020, amid mixed global cues and profit booking. The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed 14.23 points, or 0.04 per cent, up at 38,854.55. Similarly, Nifty 50 rose 15.20 points, 0.13 per cent, to settle at 11,464.45. Delhi Gym: Gyms and yoga centres will reopen in Delhi from today. "Gyms and yoga institutes have been allowed to open with immediate effect," the order by the Delhi government read.

Route Mobile IPO: The Rs 600 crore public offer of Route Mobile, a cloud communication service provider, which opened on Wednesday, concluded on Friday was subscribed 73.3 times. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) category was subscribed 53 times, non-institutional investors category 101 times and retail individual investors portion was subscribed 12 times. The price band of the issue has been fixed at Rs 345-350/share. Retail investors were able to bid for a minimum one lot, amounting to 40 shares.

AGM Today: Annual General Meeting of companies, like Divis Laboratories Ltd, Grasim Industries Ltd, Suven Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd. and Zuari Global Ltd., are scheduled to be held today.

July IIP Data: The industrial growth contracted 10.4% in July 2020 as against 15.7% posted in June 2020.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL): The public sector engineering and manufacturing company BHEL’s standalone loss widened to Rs 897 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. The company has posted a net loss of Rs 216 crore in the corresponding quarter ended last fiscal. Total revenue from operations dropped 56% to Rs 1,990 crore in June quarter this year against a total income of Rs 4,532 crore posted last year in the same quarter. Its EBITDA loss widened to Rs 1,060 crore in June quarter this year against EBITDA loss of Rs 267 crore posted last year.  

IRCTC: IRCTC on Friday reported a standalone loss of Rs 25 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a profit of Rs 72.3 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped 71% to Rs 131 crore as against Rs 459.2 crore posted last year.

Mishra Dhatu Nigam (MIDHANI): MIDHANI has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 0.94 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a net profit of Rs 23 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped 14% to Rs 113 crore in June quarter this year as against Rs 132 crore posted last year in the same quarter.

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC): The state-owned hospitality, retail and education company ITDC has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 15.16 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 0.45 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped 53% to Rs 29 crore as against Rs 62 crore posted last year.

Jindal Stainless (Hisar): Jindal Stainless has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 94 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 105 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped 74% to Rs 852 crore in June quarter this year against Rs 2,372 crore posted last year in the same period.

GIC Housing Finance: GIC Housing has reported a standalone loss of Rs 56 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a profit of Rs 14.94 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. It had reported a standalone revenue at Rs 306 crore as against Rs 310 crore posted last year. 

Indiabulls Real Estate: The real estate company Indiabulls Real Estate has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 94.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a consolidated loss of Rs 119.57 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped to Rs 47.85 crore in June quarter this year against Rs 836.57 crore posted last year. 

Nilkamal Limited: It had reported a consolidated loss of Rs 29 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a net profit of Rs 31 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped to Rs 251 crore in June quarter this year against Rs 537 crore posted last year.

Indiabulls Integrated Services: It had reported a consolidated loss of Rs 13 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a consolidated profit of Rs 205 crore last year in the same quarter. Revenue from operations dropped to Rs 43 crore as against Rs 59 crore posted last year.

Pokarna Ltd. Natural stone company Pokarna has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 9.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a net profit of Rs 30.5 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped to Rs 27.32 crore as against Rs 126 crore posted last year.

JBM Auto: Auto parts company JBM Auto has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 26 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It had posted a net profit of Rs 17 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped to Rs 129 crore in June quarter this year from Rs 520 crore posted last year.

Asain Hotels (North): Reports a loss of Rs 29.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2020. It has reported a loss of Rs 15 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations dropped to Rs 8.06 crore in June quarter this year as against Rs 56 crore posted last year in the same period.

SEBI's new rules on Multicap Funds: The market regulator SEBI has modified asset allocation rules for multi-cap mutual funds. It has directed mutual funds to re-jig portfolios of multi-cap funds to ensure they are true-to-label. There will be a minimum 75% exposure in equity with minimum25% in each Large, Mid and small-cap category stocks. Kotak Standard, HDFC Equity and Axis Focused are big multi-caps. Mutual Fund houses will have to comply with these new norms by January 2021.

Real estate stocks in Focus (Mumbai based): The Maharashtra government on Friday increased the ready reckoner rates of properties by an average 1.74 per cent. The new rates will come into effect from September 12. Ready reckoner rates are the market value of properties determined by the government for the purpose of taxation.
