Domestic stocks on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, climbed around 0.4 per cent amid positive global cues. Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange surged 166 points to end at 39,950. Nifty at National Stock Exchange also added 43 points to settle at 11,966. But there were certain stocks that came in news after the market was closed for trading purposes and can impact the indices after it reopens today on Wednesday 12, 2019. Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL): Indian mortgage lender DHFL on Tuesday said that it has cleared pending interest payments dues of Rs962 crore on non-convertible debentures (NCDs), which fell due on June 4, 2019, and met the seven-day "cure period" to pay off its obligation. 

Adani Green Energy Ltd: Adani Group’s renewable energy company Adani Green on Tuesday said that its promoters including Gautam Adani, Priti Adani, and Rajesh Adani will sell 5.98 per cent (9.35 crore) stakes in the company through an offer for sale (OFS). The floor price has been fixed at Rs43. The move would help the promoters meet the minimum public shareholding norm. Currently, they hold 86.50 per cent stake in the company. The proposed offer for sale will open on Wednesday for institutional and high-networth individual investors and on Thursday for retail investors.

Delta Corp Limited: Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant has said that he will study the proposed casino policy framed by his predecessor Manohar Parrikar and decide the next course of action. 

Yes Bank: Yes Bank’s non-executive independent director Mukesh Sabharwal has resigned from the board of the bank. The former defence personnel, Sabharwal has cited personal reasons as a reason for his resignation. He has been on the board since April 2012. Apart from this, the Reserve Bank of India has imposed a penalty on two prepaid payment instrument (PPI) issuers Yes Bank and ZipCash card services for non-compliance with regulatory norms. A penalty of Rs11.25 lakh each has been imposed on the two PPI issuers. 

Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd.: The Company has suspended its entire Port Operations from mid-night today until next 48 hours due to weather conditions. The suspension of port operations is being done in view of an advisory of India Metrological Department about a severe Cyclonic Storm in next 24 hours which is likely to cross the Gujarat Coast between Porbandar and Mahuva with wind speed of 110-120 km per hour gusting to 135 km per hour during early morning of June 13, 2019.
