Indiabulls Housing Finance: Mortgage lender Indiabulls Housing Finance on Friday posted the financial results ofthe Q4FY20 and reported a 86% decline in profits to Rs 137 crore against a profit of Rs 1,006 crore posted in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income came down 32% to Rs 2,950 crore against income of Rs 4,343 crore posted last year. Gross NPA of the lender on a quarter-to-quarter basis declined to 1.84% from 1.94%. The board of the lender has approved a proposal to raise funds up to $ 30 crore and Rs 5,000 crore through debt. 

Edelweiss Financial Services: Edelweiss has reported a consolidated loss of Rs 2,282 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2020. It reported a net profit of Rs 246 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Consolidated revenue declined 365 to Rs 1,935 crore when compared to Rs 3,036 crore posted last year. Net interest income (NII) declined 40% to Rs 218 crore from Rs 365 crore. The company has taken an impairment of financial instruments of Rs 2,039 crores. 

GATI: GATI Ltd on Friday posted its financial results for the quarter ended on March 31, 2020, and reported a loss of Rs 70.6 crore. Its profit stood at Rs 10 crore a year ago in the same quarter. The revenue during the quarter declined 19% to Rs 370 crore as compared to net revenue of Rs 459 crore. EBITDA loss stood at Rs 18.5 crore as compared to EBITDA profit of Rs 26.17 crore posted a year ago. 

Operational Numbers 

HDFC Bank: The private lender on Saturday said its deposits grew (on a year-on-year basis) by 25% at end of June, i.e. June 30, 2020, to Rs 11.89 lakh crore. Its advances grew 21% to Rs 10.05 lakh crore in the same period. 

Federal Bank: The bank announced the financial information for the period ended on June 30, 2020, and reported a year-on-year (YoY) 17% rise in deposits to Rs 1,54,938 crore. Its gross advances moved up by 8% to Rs 1,23,085 crore. CASA (current account savings account) ratio stood at 32.02% as of June 30, 2020, compared to 31.44% a year ago. 

HDFC Ltd: Reported a profit in the sale of investment of Rs 1,241 crore. It sold the loans of Rs 18,273 crores in the last one year. 

Marico: The FMCG major has issued an overall summary of the operating performance and demand trends of Q1FY21 and said, the company had launched Mediker Hand Sanitizers and Veggie Clean in April. It also said, that the company witnessed significant disruptions during the first fortnight of April, but since then has been able to steadily scale up operations to near-normal levels in the month of June. However, it reported Volume decline On a YoY basis due to high base Last year. International business Witnessed Mild single-digit decline and overall revenues declined in double-digit. 

National Fertilizers: National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has achieved highest-ever fertilizer sale of 12.85 Lakh MT in the first quarter (April-June) of this financial year. Quarterly sales are 21.5% higher as compared to the previous year.

Tech Mahindra: Tech Mahindra will bid for the revised tender to supply the fourth generation (4G) equipment to Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL). It will bid for the tender in partnership with state-owned ITI and other local companies, which have built expertise in building telecom software and devices. 

Aviation stocks in Focus: Flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Chennai and Ahmedabad will not land in Kolkata between July 6, 2020, and July 19, 2020, as the West Bengal government stepped up efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

Chambal Fertilizer/GNFC /Coromendal/RCF: Fertilizer sales grew by 83% during April to June period and reached 112 lakh tonnes. Urea sales were up 67% to 65 lakh tonnes.

eClerx:  A meeting of the Board of Directors of eClerx Services Ltd is scheduled to be held today, July 6, 2020, to consider the proposal for Buy-Back of Equity Shares of the Company.

PVR: The board of PVR will meet today to consider rights issue price, record date, rights entitlement ratio, etc. Last month, PVR's board approved raising up to Rs 300 crore through a rights issue of equity shares.

Ex-Dividend: ITC/ JSW Steel and Mindtree will turn ex-dividend on today. The ex-dividend date for stocks is usually set one business day before the record date. ITC: Rs 10.15 per share; JSW Steel: Rs 2 per share and Mindtree: Rs 10 per share.
