Benchmarks Domestic indices on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, closed with losses for the fourth session in a row even as cues from global stocks were positive. The Sensex settled below 38,000-mark at 37,982.74. The Nifty that closed at 11,331.05 has managed to hold itself above 11,300-mark. However, certain stocks came in news after the market was closed for the day. Reliance Capital/Reliance Infrastructure: National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday said it is excluding Reliance Infrastructure Ltd and Reliance Capital Ltd. From the futures and options segment with effect from September 27, 2019. 

Voltas: Published reports suggest, the Tata Group is considering a plan to separate the business project of Voltas and merge it with Tata Projects, the group’s infrastructure company. 

Strides Pharma Science: The company on Tuesday said that its formulations facility (KRSG Gardens) in Bangalore has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) from the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA). The US health regulator inspected the facility on May 2019 and EIR confirms the successful closure of the inspection. 

Bharti Airtel/Tata Teleservices: The telecom department (DoT) may challenge merge of Tata Teleservices consumer business with Bharti Airtel in the Supreme Court next month. 

Hindustan Construction Company (HCC): The Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company (Committee) has approved the proposal of prepayment of certain long-term existing facilities, re-arrangement of working capital facilities availed by the Company and settlement of certain guarantee and put options obligations of the Company.
