The barometer S&P BSE Sensex rose 99.36 points or 0.27% at 36,693.69. The Nifty 50 index added 47.15 points or 0.44% at 10,815.20. But certain stocks came in news after the market was closed. Rossari Biotech IPO Update: The Rs 496 crore initial public offering (IPO) of the Specialty chemicals manufacturer Rossari Biotech attracted bids for 60% of shares on the block by the end of Day 1 of the bidding process. The portion set aside for qualified institutional buyers has seen subscription of 41.5 per cent, while the reserved portion of retail investors was subscribed 92% and non-institutional investors 11%. Today is the second day of the IPO. The price band for the issue has been fixed at Rs 423-425 per share and the issue will close for subscription on July 15. Bids can be made for a minimum lot of 35 equity shares and in multiples of 35 shares thereafter. Minimum investment of Rs 14,875 is required for a lot size of 35 shares.
 
WPI Data: June WPI data will be released today.
 
AGM: Annual General Meeting of State Bank of India and Mindtree is scheduled to be held today. 

Bharat Bond ETF: The second tranche of the Bharat Bond exchange-traded fund (ETF) will open for bidding between July 14 and 17, 2020, with two more new ETFs maturing in 2025 and 2031. The base size of the issue is Rs 3,000 crore with a green-shoe option of Rs 11,000 crore.

Vodafone Idea: Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) is expected to hear Vodafone Idea’s case against TRAI’s diktat today. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) earlier on July 11, asked Vodafone Idea and Bharti Airtel to hold the services of their premium plans that offer faster speeds and prioritises better-paying customers. 

Ex-Dividend: SKF and Tata Power will turn ex-dividend today. The ex-dividend date for stocks is usually set one business day before the record date. SKF: 130/share (special div) and Tata Power: 1.55/share.

BF Utilities: Ace investor and billionaire Radhakishan Shivkishan Damani has acquired 1.3 per cent equity stake, or 4.91 lakh equity shares, in Kalyani group company BF Utilities during the quarter ended June 30.

Bata India: Footwear major Bata India Ltd on Monday said after the relaxation of lockdown it has so far reopened more than 1,200 of its 1,400 stores across the country, but restrictions are in place on the number of days and hours of operations. Its Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held on August 6, 2020.

JSW STEEL/TATA STEEL/ SAIL/ JSPL: The steel companies have hiked prices of hot-rolled coils by Rs 750 a tonne to Rs 36,250 and of cold-rolled coils by Rs 500 a tonne to Rs 41,000 on the back of the rise in iron ore prices and higher costs incurred due to the COVID pandemic.

USL/ UBL/ Radico Khaitan/ GM Beverages: Have eyes on the shares of these stocks as liquor consumption in Maharashtra has reportedly reduced by 59% in the April to June quarter. Liquor consumption has declined to 9.9 crore litres in Q1FY21 against 24 crore litres consumed last year in the same quarter.
