Key domestic indices managed to end the volatile session with decent gains on Monday, December 14, 2020. S&P BSE Sensex rose 154.45 points or 0.34 per cent to settle at 46,253.46. The NSE Nifty 50 index added 44.30 points or 0.33 per cent to settle at 13,558.15. But certain stocks came in news after the market was closed. Kotak Mahindra Bank: RBI has approved the re-appointment of Uday Kotak as managing director of the bank for a further period of three years effective from January 1, 2021. The banking sector regulator also approved the reappointment of Prakash Apte as part-time chairman and Dipak Gupta as Joint Managing Director and for three years with effect from January 1, 2021.

HCC: Can get an arbitration claim worth Rs 7,000-8,000 crore from NHAI, Zee Business Exclusive. The company can get orders worth Rs 2,000-3,000 crore in the next 6-8 months. An EBITDA margin of 13-15% is possible for the company in FY22. Negotiations are going on with the lenders including stake sales in the Swiss subsidiary. 

Honda India Power: Gets orders to supply 1 lakh engines to the US market, Zee Business Exclusive. The company is exploring possibilities to export from the Noida-based plan. The company has shifted some production facility to Thailand to India. 

Air India Divestment: Tata Group, SpiceJet, Essar Group and Air India Employees + Interups Inc (Consortium) have submitted EoI for Air India, sources informed Zee Business.
