Stock Market Closing Bell: On account of strong global cues, the Indian stock market today ended in the green zone after the closing bell today. The BSE Sensex shot up 249 points and closed at 39,293 mark while the 50-stocks NSE Nifty ended at 11,604 after logging 82 points gain. Bank Nifty rose 107 points after closing at 22,573 mark. Realty, pharma, auto and IT stocks were among the major gainers in the intraday trade session.

Speaking on the stock marekt current trends; Simi Bhaumik, a SEBI registered technical equity analyst said, "The market has closed above 11,600 that makes tomorrow opening bell very crucial. If the NSE Nifty manages to open above 11,600 then we can expect the further rise of around 150 to 200 points in the Indian indices." Bhaumik said that auto, pharma and IT stocks will continue to dominate the stock market rally in coming few trade sessions.

Shares of Indostar Capital Finnance, Birlasoft, Linde India, Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Somany Ceramics, Radico Khaitan, Force Motors and DLF were among the leading gainers after the closing bell today while shares of WABCO India, Schaeffler India, Metropolis Healthcare, GujaratStatePetronet, Steel Authority of India Limited or SAIL, Blue Star and IDFC were among the major losers after the closing bell.

Real estate stocks led the bull run as the BSE Realty index rose to the tune of 2.37 per cent. Realty major DLF share price skyrocketed 5.21 per cent, Oberoi Realty shares soared around 3 per cent, Prestige Estates Projects share surged 3.90 per cent, Sunteck Realty stock price went northward 2.56 per cent while Phoenix Mills stocks added 1.15 per cent.

Auto stocks continue to attract fresh buyers throughout the intraday trade session. Auto major Bajaj Auto share price jumped 3.44 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra shares soared 4.24 per cent, shares of MRF added 2.24 per cent, Tata Motors stock price rose 2.23 per cent while TVS Motor Company stocks added 1.52 per cent after the closing bell today.

Among major Asian stock indices, the Japanese Nikkei 225 added 0.09 per cent, Hang Seng went off 0.03 per cent, Kospi dipped 0.31 per cent while the Shanghai index went off 0.44 per cent after the closing bell today.

At Wall Street yesterday, Dow Jones added 0.01 per cent, Nasdaq surged 1.21 per cent, Small Cap 2000 went off 0.03 per cent while S&P 500 rose 0.52 per cent.
