Stock Market: On account of profit booking in the F&O expiry, the Indian indices finally ended in the greeen zone after trading tepid in the early morning trade session. The BSE Sensex climbed the psychological 38,000 levels by gaining 314 points in the intraday trade session. The NSE Nifty shot up 82 points and closed at 11,215 mark while Bank Nifty index escalated 201 points and closed at 23,083 levels. Energy, healthcare, auto and realty stocks were among the major gainers in the intraday trade session.

Speaking on the current stock market Prakash Pandey, MD & CEO at Plutus Advisors said, "Overall market is bullish till it's trading above 11,000 mark. Currently, the NSE Nifty has strong support at 10,850 and has equally strong resistance at 11,250. Till NSE Nifty is trading above 11,000 levels, buy on dips should be the ideal strategy for traders and investors."

Shares of Dilip Buildcon, Trident, ITI, Natco Pharma, Oberoi Realty, Cyient, Can Fin Homes and Divi's Lab were among the leading gainers in the intraday trade session while shares of Yes Bank, Omaxe, Hathway Cable & Data, Future Retail, Adani Green Energy, Reliance Infrastructure and Suzlon Energy were among the leading losers on Thursday trade session.

Healthcare stocks led the bull run on Thursday trade as the BSE Healthcare index soared 1.65 per cent. Healthcare major Pfizer share price skyrocketed near 3 per cent, Ajanta Pharma shares rose 3.43 per cent, shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise shot up 3.43 per cent, Divi's Laboratories stock price surged near 6 per cent, Fortis Healthcare stocks rose 3.14 per cent, Hikal scrip added 2.24 per cent while Glenmark Pharmaceuticals counter went up 1.87 per cent.

Auto stocks also witnessed some fresh buying throughout the intraday trade session as the BSE Auto index rose 1.35 per cent. Auto major Eicher Motors share price skyrocketed to the tune of near 5 per cent, TVS Motor Company shares surged 2.09 per cent, shares of Mahindra & Mahindra went up 2 per cent, Bajaj Auto stock price added 1.89 per cent while Ashok Leyland share price went northward 0.87 per cent.

Among the major Asian markets,the Japanese Nikkei 225 index shed 0.58 per cent, South Korean Kospi dipped 0.56 per cent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.82 per cent while the Shanghai index went off 0.24 per cent.

At Wall Street yesterday, Dow Jones ended 0.62 per cent higher, Nasdaq added 0.24 per cent, S&P 500 soared 0.57 per cent while SmallCap 2000 ticked 0.04 per cent northward.
