Niti Aayog Meeting: After the Niti Aayog governing council meeting in the Capital today, BVR Subramanium, CEO, Niti Aayog, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the states should make good use of the government's money and that the government needs information about the coming generation.

"States and UTs should work as Team India and fulfil the dreams and aspirations of people for a Viksit Bharat @ 2047," PM said during the Niti Aayog meeting.

Briefing about what transpired in the meeting, Subramanium that the Prime Minister praised the Amrit Sarovar Programme during it.

Subramanium further said that the PM informed that 50,000 Amrit Sarovars have been built across the country. The CEO said that the PM is keen on promoting exports to the states.

Modi urged States and UTs to work with NITI Aayog to take the country ahead towards achieving its vision for Amrit Kaal.

The PM said that the country is taking off at the moment and would develop if people do good work in the next 25 years.

Modi said that the country is moving from basic facilities to developed facilities, and the states should grab the opportunity during this transformation. 

Modi said that everyone's contribution is necessary for the model of a developed India.

He further informed that the aspirational block programme would be launched after the aspirational district.

Discussing various types of challenges the country is facing at the moment, the PM said that there are challenges in front of us, whether it is a challenge regarding climate or the global economy, and we should face them in the spirit of India.

Among other subjects, fiscal prudence was also discussed in the Niti Ayog meeting.

The meeting was attended by 19 states and 6 UTs.

Chief ministers from these states didn't attend the meeting today.
