SSC Recruitment 2018: The last date of submission of the online application for the post of Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2018 has been extended by Staff Selection Commission. The application date has also extended for Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, Junior Hindi Translator, Hindi Pradhyapak Examination. The last date for stenographer application earlier was set as November 19. But due to some technical problems, SSC has extended the last date of application by one date which is on November 20.

The candidates who wish to apply for the same must register themselves for the post of Stenographer and Hindi translator on the SSC's official website: ssc.nic.in. The examination of the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D recruitment 2018 will be held starting from February 1 to February 6, 2019.

SSC Recruitment 2018: Important dates

Last date for online fee payment: November 21( Till 5 PM)

Last date for offline Challan: November 21, 2018 (Till 5 PM)

Last date for payment through Challan during bank working hours: November 26

The commission has said other terms and conditions for Stenographer and translator recruitment procedure will continue to be same.

An open competitive Computer-Based examination for Combined Recruitment of Junior Translator, Junior Hindi Translator, Hindi Pradhyapak Examination, Senior Hindi Translator would be organised by the commission on January 12, 2019.

Educational qualification:
The candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.

Age Limit:
Stenographer Grade C: The applicants should be between 18 and 30 years of age as of January 1, 2019.

Stenographer Grade D: The candidates should be between 18 and 27 years of age. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Note: The applicants should apply for the exam early to avoid last-minute rush. They should be careful while filling up the application form, as any error or misinformation may lead to cancellation of the same.
