The Staff Selection Commission will soon release the link for recruitment of the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts, on April 22 2019. The notification will be highlighted on the official website. Interested and eligible candidates are supposed to keep a look out for the notification by keeping a track on the SSC website, ssc.nic.in. Interestingly, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) belongs to a General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Central Government Ministries / Departments / Offices, in different States / Union Territories.The SSC recruits about 10,000 candidates in the MTS recruitment process. These candidates fill in the positions of non-technical backgrounds such as Jamadar, Peon,Safaiwala, Junior Gestetner Operator, Chowkidar etc. It is expected that the last dates of submission of online application form is May 22 2019.

Eligibility:

i) The individual should be a citizen of India/Subject of Nepal/ Subject of Bhutan/ a Tibetan refugee/ a person of Indian origin residing in Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

ii)The candidates should have an age limit between 18-25 years. There is a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Physically handicapped candidates have an age relaxation of 10 years. 

Educational Qualification: 
 

Candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized board. 

Selection Process:

The recruitment process consists of Paper 1, Paper 2 and Skill tests. Paper 1 is objective based while Paper 2 is subjective in nature, with an overall total of 50 marks . The candidates need to apply as soon as the notification becomes active on the SSC website. Application apart from online will not be accepted.
