SSC CHSL 2018-19: On 16 May 2019 Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced vacancy details for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination. One should know that the online application will be ending today. As per the notice, a total of 5,789 vacancies are announced out of which 1,855 posts are for Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Postal Assistant (PA), 3,880 posts are for Postal Assistant(PA)/Sorting Assistant (SA) and 54 posts are for Data Entry Operators (DEO).

Candidates should know that the start date of computer-based examination (CBE) is on 01 July 2019 and the last date of computer-based examination (CBE) is 26 July 2019.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the official notification PDF for Combined Higher Secondary (CHSL) exam soon for the post of 10+2 DEO, LDC, etc in Central Government Ministries and Departments. 

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidate should have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized University.

Age Limit
The age limit set is 18-27 years (Age Relaxation for reserved category candidates as per govt. norms)

Selection Process:
On the basis of Online Computer Based Test candidates will be selected. Candidates need to qualify 3 tests, (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III). 

Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination on the basis of their performance in (Tier-I + Tier-II) subject. The candidates should be qualified with a minimum score of 33% in Tier-II. 

Tier-III Examination i.e. Skill Test will be of qualifying type. The candidates who qualify the TierIII test will be called for final Document Verification round.
