CBSE Scholarship Scheme 2019: On the occasion of Daughter’s Day, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launched the CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child for + 2 studies 2019 and Renewal of Online applications of CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child X Pass awarded in 2018. This unique scholarship scheme is dedicated to Single Girl Child. Interested and eligible candidates are expected to file their applications online through the official website of the board i.e. cbse.nic.in. The last date to apply for CBSE Scholarship Scheme 2019 is on 18th October 2019. For renewal of scholarship reward scheme, candidates need to submit the physical scholarship forms by 15th November 2019.

CBSE Board has launched the CBSE Single Girl Scholarship Scheme 2019 to reward meritorious girl students who are single or the only child of their parents. The Single Girl Child Scholarship Scheme is aimed at recognizing the efforts put in by their parents to promoting education among girls and to provide encouragement to meritorious students.

Eligibility Criteria:
As per the criteria, all single girl students, who have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the Class 10 Board exam of CBSE Board can apply for the scholarship. In addition to this, students applying must be pursuing their Class 11 or Class 12 studies in CBSE (affiliated) Schools with tuition fee, not above Rs 1500/-. 
 

Scholarship Benefits:
The beneficiaries of the Scholarship scheme will be rewarded with Rs 500 per month. The scholarship award period would be of a maximum of 2 years from the date of its commencement. The scholarship benefits or monetary reward will be transferred to the candidate through ECS/NEFT.
