Share market today: Top gainers on Sensex at the time of opening were Abbott India, Aavas Financiers, Solar Industries India, J&K Bank and JK Tyre while top five losers were Indusind Bank, Eris Lifesciences, Sun Pharma Advanced Research Co, TTK Prestige Limited and Infibeam
Share market today: BSE sensex and the broader market Nifty were trading in red on Monday in the opening trade. While the sensex continued its fall from the Friday close, Nifty shed its marginal Friday gains. The Sensex once again started on a downward trajectory on Monday falling by over 2.24% or 668.19 points in the opening trade at 29,147.40. Nifty fell by 2.76% or 238.95 points trading at 8,421.30 when the markets opened on Monday.
On Friday, the Sensex ended the day at 29,815.59 going down by 131.18 points or 0.44% lower from the previous close while the Nifty closed at 8,660.25 marginally risong by 18 points or 0.22%.
