Shah Rukh Khan believes that investment done with the mind can be good only in the short term. But when it is done with the heart, the chances of it touching the lives of many get higher. In an interview to The Economic Times recently, Khan said, "Any investment done with the mind will be good in the short term, but if your work has to touch people's life or make it more convenient, then you have to really care and it has to come from the heart."

Normally, experts advise people to make an investment with the mind. While one can make a prior assessment of expected gains, or risks, from such investment, it is also important to take into consideration  'What' you want to invest for. Here, the heart comes into play.

Explaining his idea further, Khan said that being organised is at the core of business management. "But I’m completely disorganised and I have succeeded, too. So there must be something true about the fact that the heart works in businesses as well."

Khan is one of the most financially successful Bollywood actor ever. He has invested in diverse areas including sports, and even in gaming for kids (KidZania).

Khan had once said that he invested in KidZania because he liked playing the games that children do. When asked about it, the Bollywood actor told ET, "My investments are in 3 Cs - children, cinema and cricket - actually sports, more than just sports. They genuinely appeal to me."

Khan owns successful Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders too.
