Sensex closes down 100 points; Infy plunges 10.6% after disappointing Q1 result
Indian shares fell on Friday as Infosys Ltd saw its shares droped to day’s low at 10.6% after its disappointing results.
BSE Sensex ends 105.61 points down at 27,836.50 points; while Nifty falls 23.60 points to settle at 8,541.40 points.
Top gainers were Fortis Healthcare (8.22%), JSW Steel (4.16%), LIC Housing Fi (3.8%) and Welspun India (3.72%)
Among the top losers were Infosys (8.87%), MphasiS Ltd. (4.15%), Kansai Nerolac Pai (3.48%) and GujratStatePetron (3.48%).
