The domestic market snapped its seven-session long losing streak on Thursday with the Nifty regaining its crucial 10,600 mark on the back of value-buying and as market heavyweights such as Infosys recovered and as drug maker Cipla gained on solid earnings.

At 1:30 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex was trading at 34,555, up 472.29 points, while the broader Nifty50 was ruling at 10,614, up 138 points. 

Here are the key stocks buzzing in trade today:

Galaxy Surfactants

Galaxy Surfactants, speciality chemicals manufacturer, made a decent debut on Thursday, listing at Rs 1,520 on BSE, a premium of 2.70 per cent over its issue price of Rs 1,480. The stock gained as much as 13 per cent to Rs 1673.65 againt issue price on the BSE. 

FDC 

FDC rallied over 13 per cent to hit its 52-week high of Rs 289 after the company's board approved buyback proposal of its own fully paid up equity shares of Re 1 each from the equity shareholders of the Company.

Cipla

Cipla rallied nearly 7 per cent to Rs 612.95 after the pharma company reported a 4.8 per cent growth year-on-year in profit at Rs 403.5 crore and 7.3 per cent growth in revenue from operations at Rs 3,913.8 crore for quarter ended December 2017.

SRF 

SRF rallied nearly 5 per cent to Rs 1,860 on BSE after the company's consolidated net profit increased 21.09% to Rs 131.22 crore on 24.45% increase in total income to Rs 1417.99 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.

PVR

Extending gains for the third straight session, PVR advanced over 2 to Rs 1461. The stock is up 10.38 per cent in last one year as compared to a 20.87% jump in NIFTY and a 12.59% jump in the Nifty Media index.
