Malfunctioning of most bank ATMs in the city Saturday put people to hardship as they were left without cash, the police said.
In a huge shock for all, after numerous reports of bank ATM credit and debit card holders being deprived of their money by cheats and hackers scaring all bank account holders, another story that is going viral right now is that residents of this city have been left cashless as their bank ATMs have stopped working! The bank ATMs of State Bank of India (SBI) and Indian Bank near the Collectorate did not work, police said.

When contacted, sources in SBI said they were looking into the fault which, they believe, could be a network problem.
