Banks are consistently upgrading their services these days for the convenience of customers. These days you can complete almost all the banking related tasks from home itself. However, for that, you need to register your active mobile number with the lender. In case your latest number is not registered with the bank, you won't be able to access internet banking services. SBI account holders can change their mobile number in two ways. One is by visiting the SBI ATM and second is via phone banking. To complete the process, the customer will need ATM debit card, bank account details and activated mobile number.

How to register mobile number with SBI via Phone Banking

The customer should be a registered phone banking user and then to call the SBI contact center (1800-11-22-11 or 1800-425-3800) and follow the process as guided. Notably, the customer need to keep ther ATM card details, PIN and bank account details before making the call.

How to register mobile number with SBI via ATM

1. Visit SBI ATM and swipe your debit card
2. Select the 'Registration' option from the options
3. Enter your ATM PIN and select 'Update your mobile number' option
4. Enter your old mobile number and confirm it.
5. Enter the new mobile number and confirm.
6. OTPs will be sent on both, the old and new mobile numbers.

What if you don't have your old number available during the process?

Then the customer just needs to send the SMS from new number to 567676. Once the verification of your personal details is done your mobile number will be updated.
