Documents required to be submitted in case of a SBI Life COVID-19 death claim:

In case of unfortunate death due to Corona Virus infection, the claimant can intimate at any of the SBI Life offices. The basic documents to be submitted at the time of lodging the claim are:

-- Death certificate (original or certified copy),
-- Policy document,
-- Claim form (available on the website),
-- Bank account proof and KYC documents of the claimant. In case of any additional documents, the team will get in touch with with the customers after intimation.

How will the SBI Life COVID-19 related claims be processed?
-- Claim will be assessed as any other normal claim and there will not be any exclusions on account of Coronavirus infection, as per the governing terms & conditions of our policies. The death benefit as per the policy contract will be payable on acceptance of the claim

-- Claim would be payable under all products & plans as per the benefits defined thereunder

Is there are any other COVID-19 claims related information that one should be aware of?

-- Death Claims – All SBI Life products cover death due to any cause including Corona Virus. There is no exclusion for death claim due to Corona Virus infection

-- Health Claims under our Hospital cash product – In case of hospitalisation due to Corona Virus, claim for the same will be considered as per the product features
