State Bank of India, India’s biggest public sector bank, has made important announcement for its customers.  If you are an SBI account holder, you might experience some banking issues today, i.e January 9. As per the State Bank of India, it is upgrading its UPI platform.

The country’s largest public sector bank took to twitter to inform its ‘esteemed’ customers. It requested them to bear with the bank as it upgrades the UPI platform.  

“We request our esteemed customers to bear with us as we work towards improving our services to provide for an uninterrupted banking experience.,” the SBI said on Twitter.
It said the customers might face some intermittent issues related to UPI system on 9/01/2021.

It also suggested SBI customers to use other digital channels of the India’s largest public sector bank, such as Yono, YonoLITE or Net Banking. It said these channels are not impacted by the upgrade activity.

This is what it wrote: “IMPORTNAT NOTICE! SBI is upgrading its UPI platform for better customer experience. During this upgrade activity, there may be some intermittent issues related to UPI system on 9/01/2021. We regret the inconvenience and request you all to use our alternate digital channels like Yono, YonoLITE or Net Banking, which are not impacted by this upgrade activity.”
 
SBI is the country’s biggest public sector bank and the bank is trusted by millions of its customers. In order to keep its customers alert and help them avail banking benefits by the leading public sector bank, it keeps informing them through messages and posts on Twitter.
