Satyameva Jayate Box Office Collection: Milap Zaveri directorial and John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate has earned a lifetime collection of Rs 84.92 crore. If we look at the pattern in its earnings, the movie's opening day collection was Rs 20.52 cr and end of opening weekend figures were Rs 56.91 cr, while at the end of week 1, the total stood at Rs 75.09 cr.

Satyameva Jayate hit the silver screen on Independence Day along with Akshay Kumar's Gold. A thriller drama, Satyamev Jayate has been co-produced by Bhushan Kumar Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani.

Satyameva Jayate, which also features Manoj Bajpayee and Amruta Khanvilkar in pivotal roles, was released across 3500 screens in India. In the vigilante drama, John plays the role of Veer Rathod who is a ruthless vigilante, while Manoj Bajpayee plays the role of DCP Shivansh Rathod.

Notably, the shooting of the film was kicked off in March this year and the first look for the film was released in April.

However, Satyamev Jayate's collections were short of what Akshay Kumar starrer Gold earned. Notably, in the face-off between these superstars, John Abraham came off worse. Both the movies were released simultaneously. However, if they had been released separately, the likelihood of Satyameva Jayate turning into a Rs 100 cr film would have improved considerably.
