Sarkari Naukri 2019: Tamil Nadu Forest Uniform Services Recruitment Committee (TNFURC) has invited candidates for the direct recruitment of Forest Watcher posts in Tamil Nadu Forest Department. The number of posts of the Forest Watcher is tentative at 564. The candidates can apply before 10th of August instead of the earlier 13th, giving one more chance to those who might have missed the deadline. The interested and eligible candidates for the post can apply online via the forests.tn.gov.in.

Important dates:
Commencement of Online application: 20 July 2019

Date of access to Admit cards- second week of August
Examination date: In August or September 2019 (tentative)

Educational Qualification:
The candidate must possess minimum General educational Qualification viz., must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.

Age Limit:
For General- Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years
For SC/ST- Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years
For Ex-servicemen- Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years

Pay-Scale:
The selected candidates for the post will get the pay-scale of Level-3 between Rs. 16,600 to Rs, 52,400. 

Examination Fee:
The candidates who are applying for the posts of Forest Watcher need to pay Rs. 150 as the examination fee along with the online application. The candidates can pay only through online mode of payment or through Online generation of Challan and payment at designated branches of Indian Bank. 

The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, certificate Verification, Physical Standards Verification and Endurance Test, whose standards are mentioned in the official advertisement on the website www.forests.tn.gov.in.
