India Post Recruitment 2019: India Post has published the recruitment notification for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) as Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. There are 1735 vacancies available in Delhi Postal Circle, Himachal Pradesh Postal Circle and Jharkhand Postal Circle. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the India Post GDS Recruitment 2019 through its official website appost.in/gdsonline before 05 July 2019.

Eligible candidates:
The candidate seeking to apply for India Post Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) Vacancy, should be 10th class passed with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) from a recognized Board of School Education. It is also expected that the candidates who are applying for the vacancies should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard (as compulsory or elective subjects) as declared by the State Government or as per constitutional provisions relating to the 8th schedule of Constitution of India.

One should know that the last date of application is on 05 July 2019. 

The total number of vacancies for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) post are 1735, out of which vacancy for Jharkhand circle is for 804 Posts, For Delhi circle is 174 Posts and for HP circle is 757 Posts. 

Pay Scale:
Candidates are offered a minimum TRCA for 4 Hours/Level 1 in TRCA Slab
BPM – Rs. 12,000
ABPM/Dak Sevak - Rs. 10,000

Minimum TRCA for 5 Hours/Level 2 in TRCA Slab
BPM – Rs. 14,500
ABPM/Dak Sevak - Rs. 12,000

Age Limit:
Candidates eligible age criteria are between 18 to 40 Years.

Application Fee:
Candidates of OC/OBC/EWS category Male have to pay Rs. 100/- as application fees and Female/SC/ST.PwD category candidates have to pay No Fee as per govt rules.

Selection Procedure:
The Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of automatic generated merit list.
