Indian Air force has released the notification for recruiting candidates for the post of Airmen in Group X and Group Y Trades. The online submission of applications has been already started from July 1. The interested and eligible candidates need to hurry to fill the online application as the last date to apply for the same is 15th of July 2019.

The selection of the candidates will be based on an online test, followed by Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability test and Medical Examinations conducted by the selection body. 
 
Important dates:
Commencement of submission of online application: 1st July 2019
Last Date of submission of online application: 15th July 2019
Date of online examination: 21 to 24 September 2019

Educational qualification:
The candidates for the posts of Group X trades must have passed Intermediate, or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Also, he/she should have passed three years Diploma course in Engineering in any stream.

For the post of Group Y trade, the candidate must have passed Intermediate, or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. While the for the Group Y medical Assistant trade, candidate need to pass intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Age limit:
The candidates should be born between 9 January  1999 to 1 January 2003.

Payscale: 
The pay scale for the Group X trade is Rs. 33,100 while for Group Y is Rs. 26,900. 

Application Fee:
The candidates are to pay an examination fee of Rs 250. The fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or by net banking.
