Sanju box office collection: The star-studded film is still buzzing at the box office and there is no sign of relenting any time soon, as it embarks into the second week of its release. Clearly Sajnu collection is getting an unheard of word of mouth boost and this is likely to continue through its run in cinemas. The Rajkumar Hirani film, which has Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor in the lead role, is about to touch the lifetime collection of Salman Khan starrer Race 3. Even as the Race 3 collections slow down after its thrilling run, Sanju is ruling the box office currently.

The film grossed Rs 34.75 cr on Day 1. On Day (Saturday) too it collected whopping Rs 38.60 crore, on Sunday the film it actually rewrote all records and collected Rs. 46.71 crore. This is an amount that no film has ever earned in a single day till now!  On Monday it grossed Rs. 25.35 crore. According to the latest total, Sanju movie has so far earned Rs 145.41 crore in India business.

If the collections go on at this rate for the next couple of weeks, then the movie may surpass the revenue of PK (over Rs 300 crore) and 3 idiots (over Rs 200 crore). As the movie gets good reviews from the audience and the critics alike, the Ranbir Kapoor movie may even birth a new box office collection record. Analysts are now debating whether this Rajkumar Hirani film will create the Rs 400 crore club too. 

Given the craze among the moviegoers, this seems not to be a mission impossible. Ranbir Kapoor has earned a lot of acclaim for his role in the movie. According to audience accounts, in some scenes he looked exactly like Sanjay Dutt and his performance has been hailed by all.
