Sanju has hit the Rs 339 crore mark. The movie has broken many records of box office collections, becoming the highest grosser film of the year too.

Sanju earned huge money at the box office. It made Rs 200 crore in the first week, surpassing lifetime business of 3 Idiots (202.47 crore). It earned Rs 34.75 crore on its first day of release, Rs 38.60 crore on the second day, Rs 46.71 crore on the third day, grossing total Rs 202.51 crore in 7 days. This is the biggest feat. Finally, the film, based on Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's life, has grossed Rs 339 crore till date.
Besides Ranbir Kapoor, the movie has stars like Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Sanju's father; Vicky Kaushal as Kamlesh Kamli Kanhaiyalal Kapasi; Manisha Koirala as Nargis, Sanju's mother; Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt, Sanju's wife; Sonam Kapoor as Ruby, Sanju's girlfriend and Anushka Sharma as Winnie Dias, a biographer.
