Sanju box office collection day 4: The Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju is on the path of creating history, smashing all past Bollywood records at the box office collection. The biopic on the life of Sanjay Dutt has already scripted many records as it has already become the highest single day grosser ever, highest opener of 2018. Elated over the prospects of Sanju collections, film trade analyst and critic Sumit Kadel said that it is eyeing "Dangal lifetime record", and tweeted, "As i said on 3 PM today, #Sanju is on the verge of creating another history at the box office, film will have biggest non-holiday Monday collection of all time. Monday collection will go past ₹ 25 cr & might end up collecting ₹ 26-27 cr. Film is eying #Dangal lifetime record."

Kadel also predicted that the film director RajKumar Hirani, who is founder of Rs 200 cr club and more may well become founder of even Rs 400 cr club! In his tweet he said, "Founder of 200 cr Club - RajKumar Hirani; Founder of 300 cr Club- RajKumar Hirani: Founder of 400 cr Club- RajKumar Hirani ? Quite possible with #Sanju".

With other stars including Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Manisha Koirala, Paresh Rawal and others, the Ranbir Kapoor movie's collection by day 3 of Rs 120.06 cr has already beaten films like Padmaavat (Rs 114 cr), Happy New Year (Rs 108.86 cr), Dhoom 3 (Rs 107.61 cr), Dangal (Rs 107.01 cr) and Race 3 (Rs 103.00 cr). The film, however, has not been able to surpass major movies including Salman Khan starrer Sultan (Rs 180.36 cr), Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 129.77 cr) and Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2(Rs 128 cr).

Notably, the way Sanju has captured the box office, there is a possibility that this bollywood biopic will further make records that would be unparalleled in the Indian film industry.
