Saaho box office collection day 3: Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho has set the box office on fire. The Hindi version of the film has completed an exceptional weekend by getting one of the biggest openings of 2019. On Sunday, Saaho earned Rs 29.48 crore, taking its overall box office collection to Rs 79.08 crore by the end of day 3. "#Saaho had a FANTASTIC First weekend in Hindi .Sun ₹ 29.48 cr. Total: ₹ 79.08 cr NettC," film trade analyst, critic and influencer Sumit Kadel tweeted on Monday morning, confirming the collection of the film.

Earlier, Kadel had called Saahu the biggest disappointment of 2019. He asked the viewers to watch the film at their own risk. "#Saaho is 2019 BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT. Plus- Prabhash Screen presence, Minus- bad performances of too many characters ,Confusing Story, Extremely boring laughable screenplay,mediocre action ,terrible direction & so many bad songs. Watch at your own risk. Rating- #SaahoReview," Kadel had tweeted. 

Meanwhile, movie critic, business analyst and influencer Taran Adarsh said that Saaho film is doing exceptionally well in North and East India. 

"#Saaho sets the BO on fire... Shows big gains on Day 3... Packs a phenomenal total in its opening weekend... North and East India are exceptional, other circuits fantastic too... Fri 24.40 cr, Sat 25.20 cr, Sun 29.48 cr. Total: ₹ 79.08 cr Nett BOC. India biz. #Hindi version," he tweeted.

Notably, even Adarsh wasn't too impressed by the movie and had called it 'UNBEARABLE' in his review. "#OneWordReview... #Saaho: UNBEARABLE. A colossal waste of talent, big money and opportunity... Weak story, confusing screenplay and amateur direction. #SaahoReview," he had said. 

However, as Saaho collections are showing, the film is a hit with fans and is likely to do well on current trends going forward, especially if the word-of-mouth booster kicks in.

Other than Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, the film also stars Chunky Panday, Mandira Bedi, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mahesh Manjrekar and Arun Vijay in key roles. Saaho released in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
