- The Kerala government has begun awarding people who have GST bills through lucky draws
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has launched an app called ‘Lucky Bill App’.
The government has announced up to Rs 5 cr award to those who upload their GST bills on the Lucky Bill App.
One could win a cash prize of up to Rs 500000
The move has been made with an aim to encourage people to take GST bills and to avoid tax evasion.
This scheme could be followed by other states as well.
