There are more than 14,000 vacancies in Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts, according to RRB official notification.
RRB JE Recruitment 2019: Railway Recruitment Board has invited application for the post of JE or Junior Engineer. According to the official notification on rrbcdg.gov.in, there are more than 14,000 vacancies in Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology, Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) posts. Interested candidates can apply for the posts from 2nd January, 2019 and the last date for submitting the application is 31st January, 2019.
Scale of Pay: For Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendant (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA):-Level 06 (RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix.) with initial pay of Rs. 35400/-, plus other allowances admissible at that time.
Age Limit: The candidates applying for the posts must be within 18-33 years of age (as on 01-01-2019).
Candidates are required to go through the Post Parameter Table, Vacancy Table and ascertain their eligibility to apply through online mode to any one RRB only, depending upon their eligibility. The selection of RRB once exercised shall be final. Application to more than one RRB, will lead to rejection of all the applications.

Selection procedure: There shall be two-stage Computer Based Test (CBT). There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
Selected candidates will have to undergo training wherever prescribed and during training period only stipend will be paid as applicable.
Educational qualification: Candidates should have requisite Educational/Technical qualifications indicated for posts in Annexure-A of this CEN, from recognized Board/University/institute as on the closing date for ONLINE Registration (31.01.2019). Those awaiting results of the final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification should not apply.
