Railways Jobs 2019: Youngsters who are looking to make their future with the Indian Railways are all set to get another golden opportunity. The Indian Railways will soon start direct recruitment for various vacant posts through the Railway Recruitment Board and Railway Recruitment Cell. These all recruitment will be completed within a stipulated time frame on the basis of priorities.  The Railway Board has already written to all concerned zones in this regard asking them to send the details of vacant posts to the board as soon as possible.

The East Central Railway has identified as many as 3,000 new posts. Apart from this, recruitment for 6,000 posts is already under process.

Every railway zone will calculate the vacancies in two parts. In the first phase, it will identify those posts which are vacant with different departments till January 1, 2019.  In the second phase, the railway zones will identify those posts which will fall vacant in the next two years, i.e. by 31.03.2021.  The board has asked the railways to prepare the details of recruitment against these posts as well. Besides the marking of vacant posts, the zones will also identify the posts on which the workload has increased due to the addition of assets, doubling and electrification. Therefore, new posts will be created to ease the workload.

The board has directed the divisions to furnish the details of category-wise vacant posts according to the new quota rules. The zones will have to send these details to the board by 14th February, 2019. The board will then start the recruitment process. Those posts falling in non-technical graduate, non -technical undergraduate, paramedical, and Level 1 categories will be filled on a priority basis. The board is expected to notify the vacancies in the same month.

As per Ministry or Railways website, there are a total of 16 zeones which together constitutes of 73 divisions. Therefore, if the vacancies with all the railway zones are taken together, there may be over one lakh vacant posts. Get ready for another bumper railway recruitment soon.
