RRB recruitment 2018 notification: If you are a government job aspirant then there is a good news for you. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the date of online form submission for Group D jobs to March 31, 2018, from March 12, 2018. RRB in a notification in February 2018 said that it will be recruiting 91,307 people for several posts at the Railways.

Exam Pattern

Aspirants applying for the RRB Group D 2018 vacancies will have to pass through two stages of examination and they are Computer Based Test (CBT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The appearing candidates will have to answer a set of 100 questions within a set time limit of 90 minutes. Papers that will be a part of Computer Based Test (CBT) includes Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness on Current Affairs.
  
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates will have to successfully clear the PET. Norms will be different for male candidates and female candidates. 
PET for the Male candidate: They will be asked to lift and carry a weight of 35 kilograms for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes that too without placing the weight on the ground. They will have to complete a run of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. 
PET for Female candidate: They will be asked to lift a weight of 20 kilograms and carry it to a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes without putting the weight on the ground. Secondly, they will be asked to run a distance of 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds. 

Age Limit:
General Category: The upper age limit is 30years. 
Reserved categories: Age-relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
Schedule: The schedule for the exams that will be conducted in April-May 2018 will be released after the applications are processed. 
Eligibility for Group D vacancies: Any and all aspirants who have passed the 12th class examination or have an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) degree 
 
 
Note: Admit card for PET and CBT will be issued separately. To download their admit cards, the candidates will have to remember the registration number, roll number, date of birth and password.
