RRB Recruitment 2018: East Central Railways invites application for 1489 posts of gatemen, apply on rrcecr.gov.in

East Central Railway has issued notification for filling up 1489 posts of gatemen. Candidates can apply offline as well as online.
If you want to apply online, you can do so by visiting RRB's website rrcecr.gov.in. You can send your application by post at Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Digha Ghat, Patna - 800011.
"Online/off-line application are invited from retired soldiers to fill the posts of gatemen. Eligible and interested applicants are requested to visit Railways Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Patna website www.rrcecr.gov.in to apply online. Those who want to apply offline can follow the instructions given in the notification," said the railway in a notification.
The ECR said that it will consider the applications received till August 26, in the first phase. If there remain any vacancies, then it will consider applications received on or before September 5 in the second phase. In the third phase, it will consider applications received on or before September 15, if there remains any vacancy after the first two phases.
There isn't any application fee. The maximum age limit is 64 years as on 01.01.2019.

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have completed Matriculation/SSC from a recognized board to apply for the position.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their service duration in the army. If selected, a candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 23,500 and GP of Rs 1,800.
The ECR also said that it will try to post the candidates at a possible nearest location to their residence.
