RRB JE 2019 CBT-2 Result: Indian Railways is expected to release the results of RRB JE CBT-2 2019 Exam soon on the RRBs' official websites. The RRB JE CBT-2 2019 online examination was held across different cities across the country from 28th August to 1st September 2019. The exams was also rescheduled for few centres on 9th September 2019. The final answer keys for the same was released for candidates from 10th Oct to 12th Oct 2019.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had announced a total of 13,487 vacant positions for Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendant (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in different Zones and Production Units of Indian Railways. Later, total 23 vacancies of Junior Engineer (JE) under Printing Press Department of Chennai (SR), Mumbai (CR) and Secunderabad (SCR) Zones were cancelled.  

The candidates selected for document verification and Medical Examination round will be shortlisted on the basis of RRB JE CBT-2 marks, and the shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification will have to pass medical fitness test(s) to ensure that they medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post(s). Candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed medical standards for the post(s) they are opting for. 

The candidates equal to the number of vacancies will be called for document verification based on their merit in 2nd Stage CBT and options. Extra candidates will be called over and above the number of vacancies to maintain standby list up to 50% of the posts notified. They will be considered for empanelment only if there is a shortfall in empanelment from the merit list or/and as replacement against the shortfall on account of non-joining of recommended candidates in the working post or/and any other special requirements, if required by the indenting Railways.

Notably, in case of two or more candidates securing same marks, their merit will be determined by age criteria.
