RRB Recruitment 2018: Good news for 1.9 crore candidates who were eagerly waiting for RRB Group D exam dates and their admit cards. Railways is currently holding exams for 47.55 lakh candidates who have applied for 60,000 ALP and Technicians posts. The exam had started on August 9 and will end on August 31. The ALP and Technician exam is in the last phase as only three exams are left now - August 29, 30 and 31.

However, the wait for 1.9 crore Level - 1 aspirants have now come to an end. Indian Railways has announced the date of Group D (Level -1) exams. There are a total of 63,000 vacancies in the Level 1 post.

Railways is conducting the computer-based test with the help of TCS. The exam is being conducted in 15 languages and three-shifts a day. 

RRB Group D Exam Date 2018: The Group D exam is likely to start from September 17, said Indian Railways. It also said that the admit card and details like exam centre, date and shifts will be available from Sptember 7. 

"The Computer Based Test s (CBT) for recruitment of Level 1 posts is likely to start from 17 -09 -2018. The Exam City, Date and shift details shall be made live 10 days prior to the start of CBT. Detailed CBT schedule shall be released shortly," said Indian Railways in a statement.

It also requested candidates to refer to official websites only and do not fall prey to frauds. 

"Refer to only official websites of RRBs for all the recruitment related information and do not fall prey to the false messages circulated on the internet and social media. Further, beware of touts and job racketeers as RRBs recruits candidates only on merit and shortlisted candidates for all stages till the recommendation for appointment shall be published on the official websites of RRBs only," it said.

The candidates will be able to download their admit cards by using their registration number and date of birth. Here's how to download your admit card:

How to download Group D Admit Card  
Step 1. Go to indianrailways.gov.in   
Step 2. Click on 'Recruitment' - a list of RRB will appear
Step 3. No click on your respective RRB
Step 4. Look for e-call letter download and click on the link
Step 5. Input your registration number and date of birth
Step 6. Download your Group D Admit Card

Currently, recruitment exams for 1.2 lakh posts (including ALP/Technicians/Level-I) are under process and as many as 2.4 crore candidates have applied for these posts.
