Republic Day 2024 Live Streaming: India is all set to celebrate the 75th Republic Day on Friday, January 26, commemorating the adoption of the Indian Constitution back in 1950.

New Delhi has been embellished ahead of the Republic Day celebration as the capital is prepared to feature the grand parade showcasing the culture, heritage and military prowess of the country at Kartavya Path.

French President Emmanuel Macron is the Chief Guest for this year's celebration and a 95-member marching contingent and 33-member band contingent from France will also take part in the parade.

With the themes of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Bharat—Loktantra Ki Matruka’, this year, the Republic Day Parade will be women-centric showcasing 100 women artists playing Indian musical instruments for the very first time. The parade will commence with the music of Shankh (conch), Naadswaram, Nagada and other instruments to be played by women artists.

An all-women Tri-Service contingent will also march down the Kartavya Path for the first time. The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) contingents will also feature women personnel.

A total of 25 tableaux including 16 from the States/Union Territories and nine from the  Ministries/Organisations tableaux will also feature in the parade.

In addition to the Indian Air Force aircraft, one Multi Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft and two Rafale aircraft from the French Air Force will take part in the fly-past.

Around 13,000 special guests from their respective fields across India have been invited to witness the parade. Along with that, there are 42,000 seats also reserved for the general public to witness the parade from Kartavya Path.

According to the press release by the Ministry of Defense, the Republic Day Parade 2024 will start at 10:30 am on 26 January. The parade will last for 90 minutes.
